JL Copeland fell into a rabbit hole/moved to South Korea back before the beard boom. With an unsettling imagination or a talent for bullshit (depending on who you spoke to), he reached the point where the torment of his friends, family, and university students no longer sated him. Seeking a wider audience and wanting the nightmares to go away, he turned to writing horror, dystopia, and dark fiction with a squeeze of humour.
